Key Features of the WATERMAX pump
- Designed in such a manner that the customer can effect repairs himself, if necessary,
without the help of an Engineer.
- Very low wearing part price, for example diaphragm kits at ZAR75.00
- Replacing diaphragms take approximately 10 minutes.
- Is a positive displacement pump with high efficiency.
- The cam action transforms rotary motion into reciprocating vertical motion via a double
row bearing.
- The use of the four piston system (Waterhog range) enables smoother running and lower
operating speeds, giving long life.
- Pumps are the only ones fitted with equalising diaphragms to compensate for submergence
pressures, reducing water pressure on the pump, allowing early start-up, improving
performance and extending diaphragm life.
- Float switch operation is a standard facility.
- Pumps are manufactured from HIGH QUALITY (316) STAINLESS STEEL AND BRONZE - no cheap
plastics!
- Pumps can run dry without water in the pump chamber!
- SABS approved HDPE fittings and pipe down the borehole - thus NO RUST and the highest
quality polyethylene used!
- Pumps can be rotated between camps / boreholes / dams, etc.
- Not susceptible to lightning strikes (insulated system). Precautions can be taken to
avoid strikes to modules.
- No oil lubrication required. Large double-row sealed bearings which are obtainable at
any bearing dealer, are used.
- No batteries! No inverters! Extremely high efficiencies.
- Two year guarantee on pump and pump controller.
